Deimos Thea Subscription Icons

These Icons were designed for a twitch streamer who plays a variety of games including Overwatch, World of warcraft, Skyrim as well a one off or small series with other games suggested by viewers.

The original idea for her Subscription icon was one she drew herself (above) and was the bases for my work. Due to an icon already being created in a rough form i was nicely restricted and allowed me to focus more on cleaning up and creating multiple options that the client could pick and choose from.

The Chosen Icons

For these icons i took insparation from the player level picture boarders as i felt that they shows a good progression that could translate over to subcription icons to add a feeling of progression for subscribing to the streamer for more months.

Wings

With these wings i looked more at the rocket league boarders as they use wing sets that get more ornate the higher the level, i decided that since the icons are so small that instead of getting more ornate i should instead do different styles of wings, starting with the original sketch to more sharp geormetric shapes that more resemble the diamond that the blue gradient is based off of and finally a more majestic and bird like wingspan.

Above is the icons i came up with and sent over to Deimos Thea so she can choose what she uses also allowing for future choices if she changes her mind on what she prefers using.

Below is the platform i created in illustrator to allow me to interchange and produce icons quickly with abnormal variation (wings) being done elsewhere on the illustrator file and later being mixed with the other components on an art board of the correct size allowing for centring based not only on components but on negative space.
